Pediatric Hospitalist Hot Job Bethany Children's Health Center - Bethany, OK 73008 Apply Overview Job Shift Direct Patient Care Apply Description As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you are responsible for providing direct patient care to a wide variety of inpatients at the hospital, supervision of advanced practice providers (APRNs/PAs), education of PGY-3 pediatric residents, and participating in organizational citizenship within the hospital. Duty Percent of Time Provision of direct care to the wide variety of inpatients at Bethany Children's Health Center Direct involvement in reviewing and evaluating patient referrals Admissions Daily care (acute and chronic care) Call responsibilities 60% Supervision of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) Co-management of patients in Complex Care (CC) Education Consultative services in Pediatric Medical Rehab Unit (PMRU) 20% Education of PGY-3 pediatric residents Direct supervision of clinical activities One-on-one teaching Career mentoring 10% Organizational citizenship Participate in at least one hospital-based committee Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) endeavors Actively participate in Medical Staff activities Educational offerings for staff 5% Other duties as assigned 5%

Qualifications Education:

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency training program in pediatrics. Completion of a pediatric hospitalist fellowship is preferred, but not required.

Experience:

2 years of post-graduate pediatric hospital medicine experience preferred but not required.

License/Certification/Credential:

M.D. or D.O. or board eligible or board certified (preferred) in pediatrics or pediatric hospital medicine. About Us Our work begins where we are all equal - at the heart.
