PM Experience:

Minimum 1 Year Preferred About the Role We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine / Family Practice Physician (MD/DO) for a locum contract opportunity with Cherokee Nation at Will Rogers Health Center in Oklahoma . The physician will provide comprehensive primary care services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, chronic disease management, and follow-up care. Candidates must hold an active and unrestricted Oklahoma Physician License . Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine services to patients. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and preventive healthcare needs. Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, imaging, and other appropriate clinical evaluations. Prescribe medications, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide patient education and counseling. Maintain accurate medical documentation and collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree Required. Active And Unrestricted Oklahoma Physician License Required. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency Program Required. Experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Family Practice, or Primary Care Preferred. Ability to meet all credentialing and compliance requirements for a 1099 Locum Assignment.
