Located in Bend, Oregon, our community offers the best of the outdoors with hiking, river adventures, and close proximity to skiing. The high desert community In this role, you will provide expert dermatological care, diagnose and treat a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient-centered services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dermatological examinations, including medical imaging and diagnostic evaluations, to accurately diagnose skin conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing advanced techniques such as botulinum toxin treatment and other minimally invasive procedures. Perform dermatological procedures including suturing, lesion removal, cryotherapy, and skin biopsies with precision and care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals across specialties such as allergology, oncology, pediatrics, and internal medicine to optimize patient outcomes. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR/EHR platforms to document patient histories, treatment plans, and follow-up care efficiently. Educate patients on skincare routines, preventive measures, and treatment options while addressing their concerns with clarity and empathy. Stay current with advancements in dermatology research, clinical trials, and emerging technologies to enhance treatment efficacy. Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited institution with completion of post-residency training in dermatology. Appropriate fellowships from accredited programs Active medical license Proven experience in dermatology practice with preferred knowledge of cosmetic procedures, product sales, hair restoration, etc Strong knowledge of physiology related to skin health, immunology, and pathology. Preferred knowledge of ModMed Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to perform clinical evaluations involving full body skin exams, wound care, biopsies, excisions, acne, etc. Join us in delivering innovative dermatological solutions that transform lives!
