Locums About the Facility This 40-bed on-site facility in Oregon provides full scope obstetric and gynecologic services, including clinic and emergency room coverage, to the regional patient population. The facility holds a Trauma Level 4 designation and does not operate a NICU, with clinical operations supported by established workflows and a collaborative care team. Patient documentation and care coordination are conducted through the
EPIC EMR
system. About the Facility Location Northwestern Oregon supports an active community culture, with numerous organizations relying on volunteers to sustain local initiatives across areas such as education, outdoor activities, and community wellness. The region is home to historical landmarks, including the Oregon and Northwestern Railroad, a defunct railroad that once ran 50.2 miles from Hines north to Seneca through the edge of the Malheur National Forest. Clinicians on assignment will find the area experiences mild, cool, and wet conditions, with temperatures cooling gradually through autumn and rainfall being a consistent feature of the climate. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic coverage across clinic, ER, and full scope settings at an on-site facility in Oregon, beginning in October on a locum tenens basis at 2-3 weeks per month. Clinical responsibilities encompass day shift, night shift, and 24-hour beeper call, with an average patient volume of 15 deliveries per month. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and all clinical documentation must be completed using the
EPIC EMR
system. Support staff on site includes CNMs, a CRNA for anesthesia, a Family Medicine MD who manages newborn care, 2 full-time OB/GYNs, and 2 additional locum clinicians.
