Job Summary Geisinger's Cancer Institute is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our team at the Geisinger Hazleton Cancer Center in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a community-based cancer clinic while benefiting from the expertise, innovation, and support of a physician-led, nationally recognized integrated health system. Physician-led organization that prioritizes high-quality care, innovation, and provider voice Practice in a smaller, community-focused setting with meaningful patient relationships Access to the full resources of Geisinger's integrated health system and Cancer Institute network Fully integrated EPIC electronic health record with oncology clinical pathways Culture rooted in collaboration, multidisciplinary care, and patient-centered outcomes Position Highlights Provide comprehensive hematology/oncology care in a community-based outpatient clinic Manage a balanced outpatient panel (approx. 14-16 patients/day) with a mix of new and return visits Practice in a well-supported clinical environment with 2 providers onsite No inpatient consult responsibilities, allowing for a strong outpatient focus and predictable schedule Access to an on-site infusion center with 11 chairs, supporting comprehensive cancer treatment delivery Collaborate across the Geisinger Cancer Institute, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and palliative care teams Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and coordinated care planning, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care Compensation & Benefits Competitive, market-aligned compensation model Recruitment incentives, including $100k starting bonus and full relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and malpractice with tail coverage Generous
