Locums About the Facility This outpatient community mental health clinic delivers psychiatric services to an adult population within a structured clinic-based setting. The facility maintains established clinical workflows to support continuity of outpatient psychiatric care delivery. A locum tenens psychiatrist is sought beginning in October for a period of 6 months. About the Facility Location Grand Rapids, Michigan offers a range of entertainment and recreational options suited to diverse interests. The city is home to over 100 live-music venues, including 30 or more in the downtown area, with options ranging from intimate bars and breweries to large-scale venues such as Van Andel Arena and the Acrisure Amphitheater, a 1,200-seat outdoor concert space. An Attraction Pass is available, providing admission to many local attractions along with additional discounts for adults, children, and seniors. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for adult patients at a community mental health clinic, working 4-5 days per week during day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. Clinical responsibilities include conducting new psychiatric evaluations (60 minutes each) and medication management follow-up appointments (30 minutes each) for the adult population served. A hybrid schedule is available, with a minimum of 2 days per week required on-site and the remaining 2-3 days performed via telehealth. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
