This position is fully supported by the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and offers the opportunity to practice within a highly collaborative, academically affiliated health system. Physicians will practice across two locations: Beaufort, SC, near Beaufort Memorial Hospital, and Bluffton, SC, in a new state-of-the-art Medical Office Building opening in 2026. Advanced pulmonary diagnostics and lung disease management Accredited sleep centers with comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services Multidisciplinary care for COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease Bronchoscopy and advanced airway procedures
Required Qualifications:
BC/BE in Pulmonary Disease Sleep Medicine Certification Required Interest in outpatient practice development, with future inpatient consultant opportunities
Position Highlights:
100% outpatient pulmonary clinic with potential to expand into inpatient consultant services Manage chronic respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD, emphysema, tuberculosis, and lung cancer Access to advanced diagnostic services: Pulmonary function testing, lab services, X-ray, and mobile CT Full spectrum of bronchoscopy (hospital-based), including navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS On-site comprehensive Pulmonary Function Lab Sleep Medicine Center located within the medical office building Evaluation and treatment of sleep apnea and other sleep-related disorders No call responsibilities Monday-Friday, typical clinical hours Productivity-based RVU compensation model Benefits & Resources for
