Ongoing Clinic Hours:

Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:00, Friday 8:30-12:00 Call shifts are 24 hours

Job Setting:

Outpatient and Inpatient 116-bed hospital Level 2 Nursery Level 3

Trauma Facility Types of Cases:

Low and high-risk OB, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple births, VBAC, abruptions) FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB Ultrasounds (Level I & II), Amniocentesis Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) Surgical gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic (diagnostic/minor and operative/major) Emergency GYN surgeries and consults from the ED Clinic schedules range from 15-25 patients per day; ultrasound available in clinic Approximately 540 annual deliveries; average daily OB census: 2 patients Infants weighing less than 1,500 grams are transferred to a higher level of care Providers will be covering both hospital and clinic simultaneously

EMR System:

Athena & Meditech Call:

Coverage for both inpatient and outpatient call Beeper call 10-minute call response time required

Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible:

Board Certified required

Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, PALS

required

Licensure:

Must be licensed in South Carolina (SC) only; IMLC not accepted
