Category Laboratory - Pathologist Job Type Direct Hire Step into a leadership role within a beautifully designed, modern laboratory environment. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to oversee both the operational and educational aspects of gross dissection and autopsy services, while fostering a collaborative team culture and upholding the highest standards of laboratory excellence.

Direct Hire, full-time
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Minimum of 4 years' experience in a laboratory setting, preferably with a focus in pathology Master's degree in a related field Demonstrated expertise supervising laboratory teams, preferably within gross room or autopsy services Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control and assurance programs Strong skills in mentoring, coaching, and providing technical leadership to both experienced professionals and trainees Thorough knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards relevant to laboratory operations
Primary Responsibilities:
Direct and manage daily laboratory and gross room operations, ensuring integration and efficiency among team members Oversee and support the training and professional development of Resident and Fellow Pathologists Select, train, and evaluate personnel; identify ongoing needs for staff development and competency Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs, including proficiency testing and peer review protocols Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements Continuously analyze and improve workflow processes to optimize performance and outcomes
