Physician Liaison - Medical Practice & Personal Injury Outreach Interventional Pain Practice in Formation | Greater McAllen Area Part-time or Full-time | $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience We are developing a physician-owned interventional pain practice in the greater McAllen area and are seeking an outgoing, experienced physician liaison to build relationships with the local medical and legal communities. Your contacts will include healthcare clinics, primary care physicians, surgeons and other specialists, chiropractors, personal injury law firms, attorneys, and case managers. Both medical-practice outreach and personal injury outreach are central to this position. You will work directly with the physician owner to introduce the practice, establish professional relationships, and help develop an effective referral network following the practice's opening. We're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, can comfortably introduce themselves to a busy office, and follows through after the first conversation. You should be able to get meetings, explain what the practice offers, and become a dependable contact for the offices and firms you work with. What you'll do Build relationships in the community. Make regular visits to medical practices and personal injury law firms throughout greater McAllen, including Edinburg, Mission, and Pharr. Meet the people who coordinate referrals. Develop relationships with physicians, office managers, referral coordinators, attorneys, and case managers. Introduce the practice and its services. Arrange meetings, physician introductions, and educational presentations. Clearly explain our interventional pain services, referral process, and appointment availability. Create and manage your outreach plan. Identify prospective referral partners, organize visits, and consistently follow up with new and existing contacts. Help referrals move smoothly. Work with the clinical and administrative team to address referral questions, identify scheduling or communication problems, and keep referring offices informed. Represent the practice professionally. Attend relevant networking events and professional gatherings and help organize opportunities for the physician to meet local providers and attorneys. Track your work and its results. Maintain an organized contact list and concise records of meetings, follow-up commitments, referral activity, and feedback. Review progress regularly with the physician owner. Protect trust and confidentiality. Accurately represent the practice's capabilities, respect patient privacy, and follow practice policies for professional outreach. Required qualifications At least one year of relevant experience in direct outreach to medical practices or personal injury firms, physician liaison work, medical sales, referral development. An outgoing, personable communication style and confidence initiating conversations with new professional contacts. Strong follow-through, organization, and the ability to manage your schedule independently. Clear, professional communication in person, by phone, and in writing. Comfort using a spreadsheet or contact-management system to track outreach and follow-up. Ability to travel regularly to offices and meetings throughout the greater McAllen area. Strongly preferred More than 1 year of relevant experience. Personal injury marketing experience , including relationships with attorneys, law-firm case managers, and other professional contacts involved in coordinating care. Existing professional relationships in the greater McAllen area. Experience with pain management, orthopedics, spine care, rehabilitation, imaging, or other outpatient medical services. Some help with social media though this would be secondary priority. English/Spanish bilingual proficiency would help. Compensation and work arrangement $30-$40 per hour , depending on relevant experience and demonstrated results. Part-time and full-time arrangements considered, with an agreed schedule established at hiring. A salaried arrangement may be considered for a full-time position. Paid time off Business travel reimbursement. Flexibility to organize your outreach schedule around office visits, meetings, and follow-up responsibilities. This position involves regular local fieldwork. You will help build the practice's outreach program from the beginning. Your knowledge of the local market, feedback from referral partners, and recommendations will directly inform how we introduce the practice and improve the referral experience.

This is a pre-opening opportunity. The clinic location and employment start date are being finalized. We will discuss the anticipated timeline during the interview process. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
