To Be Determined Position Overview PsyPhyCare is seeking an experienced Licensed Psychologist or Psychiatrist to provide in-person behavioral health and counseling services for a federally funded program in the Victoria, Texas area. The clinician will provide client-centered services to adults experiencing behavioral health, adjustment, trauma-related, relationship, and life-transition concerns. Services may include individual, group, couples, and family counseling. Responsibilities Provide in-person individual and group counseling services Provide couples and family counseling as appropriate Conduct behavioral health assessments and evaluate client needs Develop individualized treatment plans Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches Support clients experiencing adjustment, trauma-related, behavioral health, and relationship concerns Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Coordinate referrals and additional behavioral health services when appropriate Maintain confidentiality and professional standards Comply with applicable federal, state, and program requirements Qualifications Candidates must meet the requirements for one of the following professional categories: Psychologist Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution Current license as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist License permitting independent clinical practice Psychiatrist MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program Current and unrestricted medical license Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry preferred Additional Qualifications Experience providing behavioral health or counseling services to adults Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to provide services in person in the Victoria, TX area Experience with trauma-informed care, adjustment counseling, or related behavioral health services preferred Experience working within government, community-based, or structured behavioral health programs is a plus About PsyPhyCare PsyPhyCare specializes in connecting qualified healthcare and behavioral health professionals with organizations and communities across the country.
