The emergency department operates with comprehensive specialty services and advanced critical care support to meet the needs of a diverse patient population. Established clinical protocols and appropriate resources are in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned coverage periods. About the Facility Location Virginia's Shenandoah Valley spans approximately 200 miles and offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore Shenandoah National Park, which features over 500 miles of hiking trails and the 105-mile Skyline Drive, as well as natural landmarks such as Skyline Caverns and Natural Bridge State Park with its 215-foot limestone arch. The valley also provides access to outdoor activities including horseback riding, kayaking, and stargazing, along with museums, historic sites, and family-owned farms, and is situated approximately 75 miles from Washington, DC. About the Clinician's Workday The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site facility in Virginia. Available shift times include 7:00 AM- 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM
- 8:00 PM, 10:00 AM
- 10:00 PM, 1:00 PM
- 1:00 AM, 4:00 PM
- 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM
