Job Description
Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a psychiatrist to provide onsite outpatient, inpatient, emergency psychiatry services to eligible beneficiaries of the Hampton VA Healthcare System located at 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton, VA 23667. Floating to the Outpatient CBOC located in Virginia Beach, VA may be required as well. This is a 1099 position, and the schedule is typically Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with call and possible weekends. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric care in: Outpatient clinics Inpatient psychiatry units Emergency Department consultations Inpatient consultations Manage inpatient psychiatric patients, including: Admissions Psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses Treatment planning Medication management Ongoing treatment Discharge and transfer planning Medical record documentation Evaluate and treat: New patient referrals Severely mentally ill patients Post-discharge follow-up patients Patients requiring suicide risk assessments Patients requiring crisis intervention services
