Job Description
Key Responsibilities Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, thoracic resections, and minimally invasive techniques (based on facility needs). Provide pre‑operative evaluations, surgical planning, and post‑operative management. Conduct inpatient consults, ICU rounds, and follow‑up care for cardiac and thoracic patients. Collaborate with cardiac anesthesiology, perfusion teams, intensivists, cardiology, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care. Interpret diagnostic studies such as echocardiograms, CT scans, cardiac catheterization results, and pulmonary function tests. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
