Description This on-site contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide quality patient care in a supportive medical practice environment. As a Hospitalist, you will be instrumental in managing patient care admissions, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that patients receive comprehensive medical services. This role allows you to make a significant impact on patient outcomes, while contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare Responsibilities Manage the care of hospitalized patients from admission to discharge Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans Collaborate with specialists and healthcare team members to optimize patient care Document patient interactions and treatment plans in the medical record Participate in daily rounds and case discussions with the team Provide patient education and support to patients and their families Stay current with medical best practices and treatments Manage follow-up care and coordinate transitions of care Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Valid medical license to practice in the state of Washington Experience in hospitalist medicine or related clinical setting Strong clinical skills and patient management capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment Commitment to quality patient care and continuous professional development Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
Schedule:
7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 2p-12a No call requirement
Daily Patient Volume:
14-18 as rounder or 7-10 as admitter
EMR:
Epic Must be board-certified BLS and DEA required Paid travel & expenses
