Psychiatry (BC/BE) Schedule 4-5 clinic days Limited telephone on-call requirements In-person, hybrid, or telepsychiatry options may be available Position Overview Outpatient psychiatry position providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing patient care. The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments Develop individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed Provide supportive psychotherapy as appropriate Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate clinical documentation Patient Population Adults, children & adolescents, and geriatric patients Conditions may include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Active or eligible state medical license DEA registration Compensation & Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement plan Generous PTO CME allowance Potential eligibility for student loan forgiveness/reimbursement programs
