Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Provide emergency medical care in a hospital-based ED setting Collaborate with general surgery, orthopedics, and hospitalist teams Utilize Telestroke and Tele ICU services for patient support Manage approximately 40-60 patients per shift in a collaborative environment Support the on-site UW helicopter and other emergency services Document patient care accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols What You Need Active Wisconsin medical license Medical degree (MD or DO) Prior emergency medicine experience (preferred) Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong communication and clinical skills About the Assignment This position is based at a leading facility in Portage, Wisconsin, just a short drive from Madison and Wisconsin Dells. The hospital offers comprehensive emergency services, including advanced stroke and ICU support, with a collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality patient care. Coverage is needed for upcoming shifts starting late November 2026, with ongoing opportunities into 2027.
