Podiatrist - Part time Foot and Ankle Specialists - 3.4 Plainfield, IL Job Details Part-time | Contract $400 a day 6 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork BLS Certification Sports medicine Patient interaction Aseptic technique Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-time Podiatrist for 4-5 hrs/day 3x/wk to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert foot and ankle care, focusing on diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of podiatric conditions. Our specialty is Sports Medicine. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' mobility and quality of life. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for patient-centered care, excellent clinical skills, and a proactive approach to health management. Duties Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle examinations, including medical history review and physical assessments Diagnose podiatric conditions such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, ingrown toenails, and warts. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating non-invasive therapies, medication management, and patient education Perform minor surgical procedures such as toenail removals and wart tx. in accordance with clinical protocols Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary physicians, and physical therapists to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients on foot care routines, orthotics, footwear choices, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications Skills Proven experience in podiatric medicine with strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Next Gen or similar platforms Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to foot and ankle assessment Ability to perform minor surgical procedures with aseptic technique Familiarity with Sport Medicine injuries and protocols Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration Basic life support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in Sports Medicine and/or Board Certification/Eligability are a plus Join us to advance your career in a supportive environment that values your expertise!
