Part time positions are available. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including children, seniors, and individuals with chronic conditions. The Podiatrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive care, utilizing advanced medical techniques, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
NO WEEKENDS. NO HOSPITAL CALL.
Duties Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose various conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history. Perform surgical procedures as necessary to treat foot and ankle disorders. Collaborate with other specialists in the Podiatric field. Utilize medical imaging techniques to assess injuries or abnormalities. Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with clinic policies. Stay updated on advancements in podiatry practices and participate in ongoing professional development. Skills Strong knowledge of podiatry principles and practices. Proficiency in medical terminology related to podiatric care. Experience in pediatric and senior care is a plus. Familiarity with basic Podiatric procedures. Personable in private practice environment. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Strong analytical skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Experience with medical imaging technology is advantageous, x-ray and ultrasound.
