We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Podiatric Medical Assistant to join our team! In this vital role, you will support our Podiatrist in providing exceptional patient care while managing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Podiatrist during exams, treatments, and procedures Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs Assist in casting, bandaging, and other Podiatric procedures Ensure the proper documentation of patient information in the EMR system Assist in scheduling patients and follow-ups Ordering of medical supplies Perform basic office duties including answering phones and processing patient information Taking and processing of X-rays Maintain cleanliness and organization of the examination and treatment areas

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience as a medical assistant not required but preferred Prior knowledge of podiatric terminology and procedures a plus Good computer skills with EMR proficiency a bonus Excellent communication skills with a caring, compassionate demeanor Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Must be reliable, punctual and maintain professionalism
