School Psychologist in Mobile, AL Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Mobile, AL Job Details Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Make an impact supporting K-12 students while working as a School Psychologist or School Psychometrist in an engaging, contract-based role in the Mobile, AL area. This position provides the opportunity to collaborate on-site with educational teams, assess student needs, and help drive outcomes throughout the school year. There's also potential for your contract to be renewed for Extended School Year (ESY) or next school year, depending on performance.
Key Details:
Position begins October 1, 2026, running through May 26, 2027
Full-time:
40 hours per week, on-site only (no remote/teletherapy options) The number and precise locations of assigned schools will be determined as needs solidify, with possible itinerant responsibilities depending on testing assignments Caseload spans Kindergarten through 12th grade, flexing with district requirements
Core Responsibilities:
Administer and interpret assessments to evaluate student needs, abilities, and challenges Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention and support plans Maintain clear documentation in compliance with district and state protocols Communicate assessment results and recommendations to educators and families Present valid, up-to-date licenses and credentials upon assignment
Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology or related field Active professional license as a School Psychometrist Previous school-based experience is highly preferred Strong organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills Willingness to travel between sites if required by caseload Interviews will be held in-person only on August 26, 2026 (no interviews August 31-September 4, with additional dates available thereafter).
