Qualifications and Experience:

Valid and current Alabama School Psychologist license or School Psychometrist educator certification (proof required). Experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students. Proficiency in conducting assessments, writing reports, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Comfortable with periodic travel between schools as needed for testing. Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to students referred for evaluation. Interpret assessment data and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines. Support crisis intervention as necessary and promote positive learning environments.
