Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A full-time contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students' success near Peoria, AZ. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive educational outcomes for students from a variety of backgrounds. This position offers engaging work within a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related field Experience working in K-12 settings preferred Strong understanding of special education processes and regulations Proficiency in administering and interpreting a range of psychological and educational assessments Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration abilities Capable of managing caseloads and documentation efficiently
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or social concerns Develop data-driven intervention strategies and recommendations Facilitate and participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services as needed Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and well-being Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) Maintain detailed, timely, and confidential records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines This role offers the fulfillment that comes from making a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys.
