Job Description

Make an impact supporting students growth by providing specialized psychological services in a school-based setting near Palm Desert, CA. This full-time, full school year contract role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and collaborating with educators and families.
What youll bring:
Valid California School Psychologist credential (required) Experience as a School Psychologist within educational settings Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling for school-aged children Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with diverse teams Commitment to compliance with federal, state, and district regulations Preference is given to local candidates or those planning to reside permanently in the area Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to inform individualized educational planning Develop, implement, and monitor student intervention strategies and behavior plans Support special education eligibility processes and participate in IEP meetings Offer crisis intervention and consultation for students, staff, and families as needed Collaborate with teachers and administrators to promote student success and well-being Maintain thorough and confidential documentation according to district, state, and federal guidelines As a valued team member, youll find opportunities to deepen your expertise and contribute meaningfully to students academic and emotional success.
