Job Description

California Psychological Services, Inc. is a comprehensive agency providing an impressive breadth of direct mental health services to a diverse range of clientele within the greater Los Angeles area. We provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy. The cornerstone of our practice constitutes empirically-based approaches, an acknowledgment of the fundamental mind-body connection, and strong ethics rooted in a social justice sensibility. On that front, we are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team in a part-time capacity , primarily as a Clinical Supervisor for our pre-licensed Psy.

D. associates. We currently have one full-time associate in immediate need of supervision, with supervision hours expected to grow as our associate team expands over time. While oversight and clinical guidance remain our top priority for this role, candidates interested in building out a light direct client caseload—particularly in-person sessions with couples, families, or children—are very welcome to do so.
Responsibilities:
Provide weekly individual clinical supervision to pre-licensed Registered Psychological Associates (Psy.

D.), reviewing client notes, treatment plans, and clinical progress. Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions (in-person, as desired/needed) Develop effective treatment plans and goals based on client needs Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
Active, unencumbered licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of California (Ph.D. or Psy.

D. required) Meets California Board of Psychology requirements to act as a primary supervisor for Registered Psychological Associates. Prior experience providing clinical supervision preferred. Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic Computer Literacy (familiarity with the Simple Practice platform is a plus)
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate ($75.00 - $90.00/hr) based on experience and clinical role. Paid Sick Leave (in accordance with California state law). Continuing education opportunities and paid administrative support. Eligible full-time employees (or part-time employees working 20+ hours/week) may also receive: Medical and Dental Insurance coverage, 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Paid Time Off (PTO) Our practice is in-network with most major insurance companies including Kaiser, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Optum, Blue Shield, Healthnet, and Carelon. All new clinicians will be contracted with the insurance panels. In addition, we provide low sliding scale rates for those who do not have coverage, in stride with our social justice mentality.
