Job Description
We are seeking a full-time neuropsychological technician to administer and score neuropsychological assessments to a diverse population within the community at San BrainWorks Behavioral Health. Applicants must be able to maintain professionalism and appropriate conduct with patients. Preferred applicants are able to multi-task efficiently, maintain strong organization, implement a problem-solving approach to work, and demonstrate self-direction in the completion of their duties. English proficiency required. Multi-language abilities are a plus. Education - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in psychology or a related field required. Qualifications Registered as a Psychometrist with the Board of Psychology Proficient in Microsoft Word Excellent basic math skills Attentive to detail Interested in and comfortable working with a medically and culturally diverse group of patients Able to multi-task in an efficient manner Professional appearance Open to constructive criticism Knowledge of health care policies and insurance a plus Job Responsibilities Administering and scoring of neuropsychological tests (e.g., face to face with a patient for 2-4 hours per day, data entry); approximately 6-8 cases/week Chart preparation including medical record review Administrative and clerical tasks; working within EMR; assisting with patient appointment reminder calls, scheduling appointments
