Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based psychologist position is available in Idaho Springs, CO, serving PreK-12 students. This role spans from August 10 through June 4, covering the current and upcoming school year, with an option to extend through the end of the school year. The schedule follows a four-day school week (Monday through Thursday) and the caseload typically includes approximately 35 students. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Colorado School Psychologist license along with certification from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE). Experience working with PreK-12 students in an educational setting will be essential for supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to assist in student placement and support. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators. Provide direct counseling and intervention services for students. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support behavioral and academic interventions. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and state policies.Qualifications:
Valid Colorado School Psychologist license. CDE certification as a School Psychologist. Experience with PreK-12 student populations. Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Benefits Include:
