School Psychologist in Parker, CO ProCare - 3.3 Parker, CO Job Details Contract $34.46 - $64.46 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications School experience Caseload management School psychology Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role as a School Psychologist in a vibrant K-8 setting near Parker, CO. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 3rd, 2026 and concluding May 21st, 2027. You'll be working within a dedicated school community with a total enrollment of approximately 1,000 students, ensuring support is carefully tailored across diverse age groups. Schedules typically run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, offering balanced workdays and meaningful connections with students and staff.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with K-8 populations preferred Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychological evaluations, intervention strategies, and consultative practices Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to caseload adjustments depending on school enrollment and student needs Commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for a caseload ranging from 10-20 students, with assignments potentially split between K-4 and 5-8 grade groups Develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans Monitor student progress, update records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student well-being and learning needs Support crisis intervention and school-wide mental health initiatives Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to maximize student success Experience the professional satisfaction of making a difference in students' lives within a welcoming, well-resourced school.
