Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Connecticut School Psychologist license (CT PSYCH) Experience conducting comprehensive student psychological assessments at the high school level Strong understanding of special education eligibility, IEP process, and relevant documentation Exceptional communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a caseload focused on evaluations Commitment to ethical, culturally competent, and student-centered practicesResponsibilities:
Provide detailed psycho-educational evaluations for high school students as assigned Collaborate with educational teams to interpret assessment data and inform eligibility decisions Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary and IEP meetings as needed Maintain thorough, timely, and confidential documentation in line with school and state requirements Support the referral process and consult with staff regarding best practices in assessmentRole Details:
Assignment runs from ASAP through June, aligned with the school calendar Monday-Friday, 7:00am-2:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch) Single high school campus placement, eliminating extensive travel Caseload centered exclusively on evaluations; no counseling duties required Apply now if you are ready to utilize your expertise in a supportive, streamlined setting.
