Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a School Psychologist working with PreK-8th grade students for the upcoming school year. This rewarding position offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 30 hours weekly. The contract runs from August 26th through June 10th and allows you to make a daily impact supporting young learners and collaborating with a dedicated team.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Valid credentials as a School Psychologist Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred Understanding of counseling, behavioral assessments, and intervention strategies Skilled in conducting and interpreting a range of psychological assessments Proficient in IEP writing and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication Compassionate approach to working with students from PreK through 8th grade

What You'll Do:

Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and academic needs Participate in IEP meetings, write effective plans, and document student progress Conduct psychological evaluations and other assessments Work with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop interventions and monitor effectiveness Contribute to a positive school environment by offering proactive support and crisis intervention as needed You'll have the chance to make a real difference as you help develop strategies and provide critical counseling support to students of varying ages and backgrounds.
