Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students by providing essential psychological services for a maternity leave assignment from August 26th to January 1st. This full-time, on-site contract offers a dynamic environment where your expertise can make a meaningful difference in students' lives. Your responsibilities will include assessing the clinical needs of students with social, emotional, and behavioral concerns, completing comprehensive evaluations and observations, and developing tailored therapeutic counseling programs for both individuals and groups. Additionally, you will coordinate and facilitate all PPT meetings, as well as oversee 504 meetings to ensure each student's unique needs are met and supported appropriately.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist (070) Experience working at the elementary school level, with a compassionate, student-centered approach Strong skills in assessment, observation, and the development of targeted intervention plans The ability to effectively facilitate PPT and 504 meetings, collaborating with educators and families Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, onsite educational environment In this role, you'll be part of a dedicated team of professionals committed to fostering students' academic, social, and emotional well-being.
