Job Description

Step into a pivotal role supporting students' academic and emotional development in a full-time contract position as a School Psychologist working with grades 712. This assignment spans from ASAP through June 2027, offering the opportunity to make a lasting difference in students educational journeys at the secondary level. With a focus on comprehensive evaluation rather than counseling, youll play a crucial part in identifying student needs and collaborating with educational teams.
Key Qualifications:
Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Successful experience working with middle and high school students (grades 712 preferred) Demonstrated expertise in conducting initial and re-evaluations, including report writing and interpretation of results Familiarity with relevant assessment tools and special education processes Strong organizational and communication skills to manage a full evaluation caseload Ability to work professionally within multidisciplinary teams and liaise with families as needed
Role Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a full caseload of initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students in grades 712 Provide thorough written reports, recommendations, and participate in eligibility meetings Collaborate with special education personnel, teachers, and administrators to inform student supports and placements Stay current with best practices in testing, reporting, and ethical guidelines in school psychology Work regular school hours, Monday through Friday, within a 3537.5 hour weekly schedule In this dynamic contract role, youll contribute expert psychological assessment skills to a supportive educational environment.
