9687365-06107 Job Description Step into a meaningful role making a direct impact on student success as a School Psychologist in a vibrant school environment near West Hartford, CT. Working onsite, youll collaborate with educators and families to assess student needs, provide expert evaluation, and contribute valuable insights for individualized education plans. This contract opportunity is full-time, with 35 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and extending through March 30, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

Active licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in Connecticut is required Demonstrated experience working within K-12 school settings Strong background in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, staff, and parents Proficiency in navigating school-based assessment tools and documentation procedures Ability to participate in and support the development of effective learning strategies for diverse learners Comfortable interviewing via Zoom for the initial assessment process

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct student assessments and psychological evaluations onsite at Slade Middle School Prepare comprehensive written PPT reports, presenting findings clearly to school teams and families Consult with teachers and administrative staff to implement evidence-based interventions Participate and provide expertise at multidisciplinary team meetings Offer recommendations for educational programming and behavioral supports targeting individual student needs Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with district, state, and federal regulations By joining this dynamic learning community, you will be empowered to shape student outcomes and support their social, emotional, and academic growth.
