This in-person, full-time position (32.5 hours per week) offers a dynamic setting where your expertise will make a meaningful impact across multiple school communities. Your role centers on conducting regular evaluations, so comfort and proficiency in this area are essential. Candidates must hold, or be in the process of obtaining, Connecticut certification—pending certifications are also considered, allowing passionate early-career professionals and seasoned experts alike to excel.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Connecticut certification as a school psychologist (pending certification considered) Demonstrated background in school psychology, including experience with various assessments and evaluations Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing detailed, actionable reports Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and student support Ability to manage a consistent evaluation caseload effectively
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Performing comprehensive evaluations to support student learning and behavioral needs Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams on individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing consultation and guidance for intervention strategies Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation of all assessments and interventions Participating in meetings to discuss student progress and recommend strategies This position offers a fulfilling way to advance your career in an engaging academic community for the entire school year.
