School Psychologist in Voluntown, CT
Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-8 students as a School Psychologist on a full-time contract assignment, working 30 hours per week. Key Qualifications:
Active School Psychologist certification Experience with K-8th grade students preferred Demonstrated expertise in behavioral strategies and interventions Solid assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills Effective collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational and communication abilitiesCore Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments Participate in and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Provide general case management for a diverse student population Deliver targeted behavioral consultations and intervention planning Work closely with educators and families to promote student success and well-being Maintain up-to-date documentation for evaluations, interventions, and progress tracking This position offers the chance to support students' developmental needs and empower teachers with effective tools in a supportive, school-centered environment.
