Job Description

Step into a meaningful role supporting students in a PreK-8 educational environment during the 2026-2027 academic year. As a school psychologist working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM, you will dedicate 30 hours each week to making a positive difference in the lives of children. This contract position starts August 26th and concludes June 10th, providing you the opportunity to be a consistent presence throughout the school year. Your responsibilities encompass a variety of essential duties, such as conducting student counseling, administering assessments, and contributing to the development and writing of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Working with a diverse PreK-8th grade caseload, your expertise in school psychology will be pivotal in fostering student growth and well-being.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in School Psychology required Valid 070 School Psychologist licensure Experience with PreK-8th caseloads preferred Proficient in IEP writing and evaluation processes Skilled in conducting assessments and counseling students Strong organizational and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students Conduct psychoeducational assessments and observations Collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff to develop effective student interventions Lead IEP meetings and serve as a resource for best practices in special education Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with policies and regulations Enjoy the stability of weekly pay and access to comprehensive healthcare benefits, all while working a consistent daytime schedule.
