Job Description

Step into a contract opportunity supporting early childhood education as a dedicated school psychologist. Youll collaborate closely with an early childhood center (PreK-4 years old) near Camden Wyoming, DE, ensuring that each child receives the psychological care and advocacy they deserve. Flexibility is offered, with both full-time and part-time schedules considered. Your expertise will bring much-needed continuity as you work with a diverse preschool population. While current caseloads are manageable and dont currently include ECAP students, new children from varied backgrounds may be added. This position presents a fulfilling mix of in-person interaction and collaboration, tailored to your professional strengths and the needs of the centers young learners.
What were looking for:
Valid Delaware School Psychologist certification Experience working with preschool and early childhood students Strong diagnostic, assessment, and intervention skills Comfort working with low-income and linguistically diverse families Ability to adapt in hybrid environments and support transitions from previous virtual services Excellent communication and collaboration skills What youll do: Provide assessments, crisis intervention, and individualized support plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow specialists to foster students success Offer counseling and interventions tailored to cognitive, emotional, and social growth Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP development, and cross-disciplinary team discussions Help bridge language or cultural differences to create an inclusive environment This contract position provides the satisfaction of making an immediate difference with flexibility to suit your work-life needs.
