Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active Delaware School Psychologist license (required) Experience working in school settings providing psychological assessment, crisis intervention, and educational evaluations Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students, staff, and parents/guardians Commitment to upholding ethical and legal standards in school psychology Willingness to comply with local fingerprinting requirements ($85 CBC fingerprinting fee applies)

Position Responsibilities:

Deliver psychological evaluations, assessments, and reports for K-5 students, supporting special education eligibility and intervention planning Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to facilitate the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development of students Provide individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention when needed Consult with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective classroom interventions and strategies Maintain accurate records, documentation, and confidentiality following district and legal guidelines
