Site Director / Principal Investigator About Galiz Research Galiz Research is a dedicated clinical research site specializing in central nervous system (CNS) studies, including Alzheimer's disease, dementia, major depressive disorder, and schizophrenia. As part of the Sensorium Clinical Research network, we partner with leading pharmaceutical sponsors to advance new treatments while providing our patients with a high standard of care and a supportive, community-rooted research experience. Position Summary The CNS Clinical Rater administers and scores standardized cognitive, psychiatric, and behavioral assessment scales for patients enrolled in CNS clinical trials. This is a contract (1099) position, engaged on a per-visit or as-needed basis, with no employee benefits. The Rater works closely with the Principal Investigator and study coordination team to ensure assessments are conducted with fidelity to protocol and sponsor training requirements. Key Responsibilities Administer and score protocol-specified rating scales (e.g., ADAS-Cog, CDR, MMSE, PANSS, HAM-D, MADRS, and similar instruments depending on study) Maintain inter-rater reliability and complete all required sponsor rater certification and training Document assessments accurately and in a timely manner in source and eSource/CTMS systems Coordinate scheduling of rater visits with the clinical team to meet protocol visit windows Communicate any clinically significant findings to the Principal Investigator promptly Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and GCP requirements at all times Participate in sponsor-led rater training sessions and calibration exercises as required Support recruitment and pre-screening efforts related to rater assessments, as needed Qualifications International Medical Graduate (IMG) or Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG); recent graduates welcome Degree in clinical psychology, or ARNP with psychiatric specialization Prior experience with standardized psychiatric or cognitive rating scales preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Must be authorized to work in the United States Ready to work as part of a collaborative clinical team Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, visit-based schedule Bi-lingual preferred Galiz Research is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
