Job Description

Step into a pivotal role supporting student success as a School Psychologist for an upcoming school year contract in the Fort Myers area. This full-time position spans August 2026 through May 2027, offering the chance to work within a collaborative educational settingall on site, with no virtual options. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, writing detailed reports, and actively participating in IEP meetings. As an itinerant professional, you may serve multiple school locations, adapting to varying caseloads and age groups as needed. Your expertise will be invaluable in collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to create positive learning environments for students of all backgrounds.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license (required) Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive student assessments Proficiency in report writing and understanding of special education processes Previous school-based experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset Ability to travel to different school sites based on assignment needs Flexibility and commitment to a full school year contract
Primary Responsibilities:
