Key Qualifications:
Active Florida Department of Health School Psychologist License (FL DOH) Previous experience within school settings strongly preferred Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents in PK-8th grade Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), IEP processes, and behavioral interventions Comfortable managing time-sensitive credentialing, including district-required fingerprinting and in-person HR badging Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for PK-8 students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers on intervention planning and progress monitoring Participate in problem-solving teams and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Provide direct counseling and crisis response as needed Deliver consultations and professional development to educational staff Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all compliance requirements This contract position is full-time at 35 hours per week, following a regular school calendar from late September through early June.
