Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing vital psychological services within a supportive school setting. This contract opportunity spans the 20262027 academic year and focuses on delivering care to students in grades Pre-K through 8. As an on-site school psychologist, you will play a critical role in fostering student well-being, supporting teachers and families, and shaping a positive educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Florida Department of Health School Psychologist License Previous experience working in Pre-K8 educational environments is valuable Ability to adapt to new settings and build rapport with students, staff, and families Excellent assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Flexibility to work on-site across one or more schools (assignments will be determined) Willingness to complete all district credentialing requirements, including separate fingerprinting and in-person HR badging
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for services Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention and support plans Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention and mental health counseling when needed Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines Serve as a resource and advocate for student mental health and learning This rewarding contract runs from late September through early June, offering a consistent 35-hour work week.
