Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a real impact supporting young learners as a School Psychologist in a vibrant elementary setting serving grades K-5. Based in the Atlanta area, this part-time contract position gives you the opportunity to play a meaningful role while enjoying a flexible schedule. The assignment begins in November and continues through the end of the school year, offering a fulfilling experience with motivated students and a collaborative school team. Work just two days per week—Wednesdays are required, and the second day is flexible to fit your availability. Serve one elementary school where your expertise will contribute to students' academic, emotional, and social success.
Key qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field) Active School Psychologist license/certification in Georgia Previous school-based experience preferred, particularly at the elementary level Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Essential responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and prepare clear, actionable reports Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans Offer consultation and evidence-based interventions for students' learning, behavior, and social-emotional needs Facilitate and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed Advocate for students and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment Enjoy the balance that comes with a part-time schedule and the support of an enthusiastic school community dedicated to creating positive outcomes for every child.
