Qualifications & Experience:

3.5 or higher score on the EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) GAPSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) credential required Experience interpreting in educational settings is highly valued Strong command of American Sign Language and familiarity with K-12 terminology Ability to collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other staff to support student success

Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate interpreting services during student testing sessions district-wide Adapt communication based on age group, from elementary through high school Work on a flexible, as-needed basis with a variety of students and staff Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and responsiveness in all assignments Support school staff in facilitating inclusive, equitable testing environments Travel to different schools within the district as assignments arise
