Job Description

Step into a pivotal role serving students across K-12 settings as a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract opportunity starting ASAP and extending through late May 2027. This position offers the chance to make a lasting impact through strong collaboration with special education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure each student thrives academically and emotionally. In this role, you will: Assess the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of students across the full K-12 caseload. Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans that promote positive outcomes for students with diverse needs. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations and IEP teams in coordination with special education professionals. Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services for students, families, and staff. Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams, supporting data-driven decision-making. Maintain clear documentation and adhere to all timelines for assessment and reporting. Engage in ongoing professional development within a supportive environment.
Qualifications and skills desired:
Current and valid Georgia School Psychologist License (required). Previous experience or strong knowledge in school-based psychological services across various grade levels. Ability to collaborate with special education teachers, administrators, and families. Expertise in assessment, writing reports, and recommending interventions. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities. This contract position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30am to 3:00pm, allowing for one dedicated planning hour and a 30-minute duty-free lunch each day.
