Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid licensure or eligibility for state certification as a School Psychologist in Georgia Demonstrated experience providing assessments, counseling, and behavioral support within an educational setting Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Commitment to supporting diverse learners, including those with special needs Excellent written and verbal communication abilitiesResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Provide direct support and counseling to students experiencing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges Consult with teachers and parents regarding intervention strategies and student support Participate actively in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Student Support Team (SST) meetings Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with district and state guidelines This position allows you to utilize your expertise while making a genuine difference in students' lives throughout the Forsyth and Macon areas.
