9664669-31787 Job Description Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity serving K-12 students in the Smithville, GA area for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time school psychologist role offers flexible weekly hours (30 to 40, as needed) and is available immediately through May 30, 2027. Make a meaningful impact as part of a dedicated educational network, supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Georgia School Psychologist Certification required Experience with K-12 student populations preferred Background in conducting evaluations and assessments, developing and participating in IEP meetings, and providing essential documentation Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Detail-oriented approach with a dedication to ethical, student-centered service Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-12 Participate actively in the IEP process, contributing insights and recommendations Deliver timely and accurate evaluations and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student well-being and academic success Offer consultation services to school personnel and parents as needed Support crisis intervention and develop strategies tailored to individual student needs
