Job Description

Make a direct impact supporting students well-being in an educational setting as a school psychologist on a contract basis near Algonquin, IL. This is an exciting chance for a professional who is passionate about fostering student growth and advocating for positive learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist Strong background in psychological testing and evaluation Ability to create and implement intervention strategies for diverse student populations Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Experience in school settings preferred, including knowledge of IEP processes Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results Provide individual and group counseling to support students academic and emotional needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions Participate in the creation and implementation of IEPs and other educational plans Consult with school staff on strategies for classroom management and student behavior Conduct crisis intervention and support as needed Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements This contract position offers an opportunity to use your expertise in a supportive, professional environment where your skills will be highly valued.
