Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students by providing essential psychological services throughout the academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity begins in August and will see you working closely with a team of dedicated school psychologists to ensure each student receives the support they need to thrive. You'll focus primarily on conducting initial evaluations, with some re-evaluations, collaborating with other professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field Experience with elementary school populations strongly preferred Solid grasp of assessment tools and processes for initial and re-evaluations Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with staff, students, and families Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for elementary-aged students, including initial evaluations and re-evaluations Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes Collaborate closely with other school psychologists and education professionals to develop intervention and support strategies Maintain detailed records and prepare accurate, timely evaluation reports Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding student mental health, behavioral interventions, and support services This position offers you the chance to build valuable partnerships with experienced colleagues and to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant school community.
