9585394-60629 Job Description Step into a rewarding part-time role as a School Psychologist, supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade in a well-structured educational environment near Chicago, IL. This contract position is perfect for those passionate about making a difference and excited to work closely with a manageable caseload. Your days will be spent on-site from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the assignment running from August 19 through June 3.

What You'll Do:

Provide direct psychological and academic support to a caseload of approximately 30 students. Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and participate in IEP meetings as needed. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning plans. Deliver counseling services, crisis intervention, and consultative services as appropriate. Maintain comprehensive student records in compliance with district and state requirements. Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid School Psychologist certification recognized by the State of Illinois. Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field. Experience working with Pre-K through 8th grade students preferred. Familiarity with assessment tools and evidence-based intervention strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school setting.
